Which links work?

Public Instagram post, reel, and IGTV URLs on instagram.com or instagr.am. Profile pages, stories, and links from other sites are rejected.

Why did a public-looking post fail?

Instagram sometimes answers with a login page or a not-available page instead of the video. Private accounts do the same. The message on the home page tells you which of those happened. Trying again later can help when Instagram is blocking the request.

Why is there only one download button?

The buttons match the files on the public page. Some videos are published as a single HD file. Others include a smaller SD file or more widths. We do not invent extra sizes.

Do you store the video?

The download is streamed or saved to your computer for that request. We do not keep an Instagram login. Messages you send through Contact or Report are stored locally so they can be read.

Are you part of Instagram?
